| Ingredients: |
| Sliced apples |
3 L or 12 cups |
| Unsweetened applesauce |
500 mL or 2 cups |
| Sour cream |
500 mL or 2 cups |
| Honey |
125 mL or 1/2 cup |
| Allspice |
30 mL or 2 Tbsp |
| Ground cinnamon |
2 mL or 1/2 tsp |
| Pan coating |

| Ginger snaps |

| Directions: |
Break ginger snaps into small pieces. Mix honey, applesauce, allspice and sour cream together. Arrange 3/4 cup apples in the bottom of a non-stick treated round 8 oz (200 g) souffle dish. Add one Tbsp (15 mL) of the applesauce mixture, and cover with 1/2 cup (125 mL) ginger snap pieces.
Cover with 1/4 cup (75 mL) apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with buttered foil and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Remove foil, bake 5 minutes longer and serve with Amaretto sauce or Ice Cream.
